Before Donald Trump became president, comedian Ruby Wax had a memorable encounter with him in the 1990s.
During a pre-interview meal, Trump told Wax he wanted to be president, which she found so absurd that she laughed out loud. Offended, Trump reportedly ordered her and her crew off his private plane shortly after takeoff. Wax later described Trump as “fierce and vicious,” adding that he struggled to understand women who challenged him.
