Many years ago, my wife and I were driving home late at night when our car broke down in a remote area. With no cell phones at the time, we were stranded until a college student stopped and offered us a ride into town. When we tried to pay him, he simply smiled and said, “Just pass it on.” That moment left us deeply moved, but as life went on, the memory slowly faded into the background.
Years later, that memory came rushing back. My wife called me at work and told me to turn on the news. On the screen was the same young man who had once helped us, now a doctor.
