A never-before-seen-footage of the collapse of Twin Towers was shared by a witness 23 years after the horrific event.<\/p>\n
The video, posted on YouTube by Kei Sugimoto, was taken from a previously \u201cunseen angle.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Kei, it was taken \u201cfrom the roof of 64 St Marks Place in NYC on a Sony VX2000 with teleconverter\u201d on September 11, 2001, with a Sony VX2000 camera.<\/p>\n
He recalled the tragic day saying he first believed that a fire broke in the building. However, it wasn\u2019t until the second attack took place that he realized what had really happened.<\/p>\n
Kei discovered the footage after going through some old boxes.<\/p>\n
He was concerned that some of the tapes were ruined, but he then tried to digitize the one of the Twin Towers collapsing and shared it online.<\/p>\n

The 9\/11 attack, when 19 members of the Al-Qaeda terrorist group hijacked four planes and used them as weapons in a coordinated assault on the United States, with two of those planes striking the World Trade Center in New York City and causing the Twin Towers to collapse, resulted in nearly 3,000 deaths.<\/p>\n
