Longtime Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy announced on May 1 that he is stepping away from the New York studio after decades on the show\u2019s signature \u201ccurvy couch.<\/p>\n
\u201d Though leaving the daily in-studio role, Doocy will continue as a Fox & Friends host, reporting remotely from Florida and traveling the country as the show\u2019s \u201ccoast-to-coast host.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not stepping down,\u201d he assured viewers. \u201cI\u2019m still part of the crew \u2014 just transitioning to a new chapter.\u201d Doocy\u2019s new setup allows more time with his family, including three children and three grandchildren,<\/p>\n
