Retired three-star Army Gen. Mike Flynn, who spent his entire career in military intelligence and briefly served as President Donald Trump\u2019s first-term national security adviser, dropped new bombshells about former Vice President Mike Pence and former House Speaker Paul Ryan.<\/p>\n
In an interview last week with conservative influencer Benny Johnson, Flynn claimed that Pence and Ryan actively plotted to undermine Trump and, upon his removal from office, were prepared to step in to govern in his place.<\/p>\n
He also said that the country is undergoing a huge shift, politically, and that there is a battle between Trump\u2019s brand of \u201cAmerica first\u201d and an underlying far-left socialism push that began under former President Barack Obama, whom Flynn served as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency for nearly three years.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re saying Paul Ryan and Mike Pence at least were in on this?\u201d Johnson said to being the segment.<\/p>\n
Flynn responded:<\/p>\n
Oh yeah, there\u2019s no doubt about it. Paul Ryan and Mike Pence wanted Trump out during the very famous, prior to the election in 2016, the \u201cpu**y tapes.\u201d Okay, I\u2019ll just say it like that, sorry. But those infamous tapes came out. I know at that time that there were discussions between Ryan, Reince Priebus, and Mike Pence about, well, if Trump steps down, then we\u2019re gonna have a plan because they actually wanted\u2026 they were hopeful because that tape didn\u2019t come out through Democrat operatives. So there was a plan for, you know, hopefully Trump\u2019s going to step down and go, \u201cscrew this, you guys can have it.\u201d Those guys were ready to step right in.<\/p>\n
So, this is 2016. So all the people out there that think, you know, all these guys are great because they\u2019re Republicans? Sorry, they\u2019re not. This is where the \u201cUniparty\u201d steps in and the Uniparty is one of these big problems that we face in this country because they don\u2019t want to accept that we are in the midst of a revolution and a Marxist takeover. And Barack Obama\u2026 I mean, there\u2019s no reason in the world why Barack Obama should have ever won the first time around, but he did. Because there was a push by a lot of people because they knew this was the opportunity that they had to start this turnover of our country, okay? Eight years of Barack, eight years of Hillary, we\u2019d be done.<\/p>\n
So now, here\u2019s where we are at today on your show, you know, here in America, with this, you know, bill that\u2019s about to happen, and Trump has got a lot of authority, right? A lot of leadership authority that he\u2019s been given by the judgment of the American people, by the majority of the American people, the way our country is supposed to be run. And in that judgment, he\u2019s going to have to make a decision. This is kind of where I keep saying, \u201cenough is enough.\u201d<\/p>\n
He\u2019s going to have to make a decision about how and who to hold accountable. And he\u2019s going to have to turn\u2026 I want people to remember that the chief law enforcement officer in the country is not the Attorney General, it\u2019s not the Attorney General. The chief law enforcement in the country is the President of the United States. We always say, you know, he\u2019s the President, and he\u2019s the Commander in Chief. He\u2019s also the chief law enforcement officer in the country. He\u2019s the only one with pardon authority at that level, right?<\/p>\n
And he can declare things based on national security and national emergency issues alone. So he can decide which direction the country goes, and he does it because the majority of the judgment of the American people were imbued into his ability to be able to do that.
