Following Tulsi Gabbard\u2019s accusation that former president Barack Obama was responsible for a \u201cyears-long coup\u201d against him, President Trump seemed to demand that the former leader be taken into custody.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Friday, National Intelligence Director Gabbard declassified hundreds of documents pertaining to the probe into suspected Russian meddling in the 2016 election.<\/p>\n

Using\u2019manufactured and politicized intelligence\u2019 to suggest that bad actors might have impacted the outcome, she said the emails show a plot by Obama to try to undermine Trump\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n

Trump reprinted her interviews with Fox and several others regarding the matter on Truth Social, reinforcing her claims.<\/p>\n

And on Sunday, he escalated things further by reposting an AI-generated TikTok video titled:\u00a0\u201cNo one is above the law.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The phrase\u00a0\u201cno one is above the law\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0was repeated by a number of Democratic figures in the clip, including Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and Obama.<\/p>\n

A digitally modified footage of Trump and Obama sitting together in the Oval Office follows. Obama being scooped up by FBI agents, handcuffed, and taken away to the tune of\u00a0\u201cYMCA\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0by Village People. Obama is shown wearing an orange jumpsuit while incarcerated at the end of the video.<\/p>\n

According to a 114-page document that Gabbard made public, it demonstrates that the Obama administration knew there was little risk of Russia\u00a0\u201cdirectly\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0influencing the 2016 election.<\/p>\n

She demanded that everyone involved be looked into and maybe charged with a crime, including the former president and former FBI director James Comey.<\/p>\n

According to the documents, senior Obama administration officials had private conversations regarding Russia\u2019s contentious involvement in the 2016 US elections.<\/p>\n

They detail discussions among Trump\u2019s favorite targets, including former intelligence head James Clapper, as officials discussed how to characterize Russian election activity, despite the fact that many of the records are heavily redacted or entirely blacked out.<\/p>\n

The documents found that there was\u00a0\u201cno indication of a Russian threat to directly manipulate the actual vote count through cyber means.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, according to Gabbard, the documents demonstrate that Democrats decided to disregard this or even advance the opposing viewpoint in their attempt to unseat Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir egregious abuse of power and blatant rejection of our Constitution threatens the very foundation and integrity of our democratic republic,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Gabbard in a blistering statement accompanying the document release.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to a number of documents released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), authorities concluded that Russia would not attempt to influence the results of a US vote or would not be able to do so.<\/p>\n

A document sent to senior intelligence officials on December 9, after Trump\u2019s shock victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton, instructed them to prepare an assessment\u00a0\u201cper the President\u2019s request\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>regarding\u00a0\u201ctools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election,\u2019 according to a January 2017 report titled \u2018Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Russian cyber efforts against both political parties were then referenced in the report.<\/p>\n

Of the material Gabbard released, one new August 31, 2016 document by an official with their name blacked out states that the\u00a0\u201cthrust of the analysis is that there is no indication of a Russian threat to directly manipulate the actual vote count through cyber means.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

In response, Democrats have asserted that Gabbard\u2019s declassification is intended to divert attention away from the DOJ\u2019s decision to end its investigation into how the Jeffrey Epstein case was handled.<\/p>\n
