President Donald Trump was forced to cut his speech short during a White House press conference due to a medical emergency.<\/p>\n

At the time, Trump was swearing in TV personality, Dr. Memhet Oz, who will serve as the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during Trump\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n

The reason Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt terminated the briefing and asked the reporters to vacate the room was because a girl collapsed during the ceremony, the\u00a0Irish Star\u00a0<\/a><\/em>reported.<\/p>\n

Realizing something serious was going on, President Trump cut his speech and left the podium in order to assist. \u201cI hope she\u2019s OK,\u201d he was heard saying.<\/p>\n

Dr. Oz could be seen rushing off camera to offer help.<\/p>\n

Video showed the young girl being hastily accompanied out of the room.<\/h2>\n

The White House later confirmed that a \u201cminor family member\u201d fainted during the ceremony, adding they were now fine. The statement read, \u201cA minor family member fainted during Dr Oz\u2019s swearing in ceremony in the Oval Office. We are happy to say she is OK.\u201d<\/p>\n
