Most people have a long list of things they\u2019re looking for when they begin house-hunting. Some people want a set number of bedrooms, for example, others prefer a sizable backyard or a big garage.
\nYet though taste and preference differ from potential buyer to potential buyer, I think we can all agree there are certain things none of us want from\/in a new home.<\/p>\n
When Amber Hall walked into a four bedroom, two bathroom house for sale in Centennial, Colorado, she thought she\u2019d found her ideal first property after weeks of searching around. As per reports, she envisaged her two children and two dogs playing in the backyard, and was especially happy with the location.<\/p>\n
Of course, she wasn\u2019t to know that the house already had residents\u2026 of a rather slithery kind.<\/p>\n

\nAfter officially buying the house, Amber was excited for her family to move in and make it their own. Yet alarm bells sounded off in her head while she was in the process of unpacking and one of her dogs began to behave strangely.<\/p>\n
As per KOAA, she explained: \u201cI was trying to unpack, and my dog crouched down and he started walking over here really slow.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI came over to see what he was looking at, thinking it was like a spider or something, and there were two little holes right here and I saw snakes slither up the wall. So, I panicked.\u201d<\/p>\n
Yes, you read that correctly. Snakes in the walls.<\/p>\n
Reportedly, the large serpents had coiled up inside the wall beside the door that led from her garage to the yard. Alarmingly, when Hall placed her hand further up the wall, she could feel warmth, indicating that there were more of the creatures hidden away.<\/p>\n
\u201cShockingly big,\u201d she said of the snakes.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter all the research, everybody\u2019s saying they\u2019re some form of garter snake. But they\u2019re also giving the caveat that nobody\u2019s ever seen their garter snake that big.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t unpack any of my stuff because I\u2019m definitely afraid that there\u2019s snakes in the boxes or under the boxes\u2026 It\u2019s like you crawl into bed, and if the sheet brushes your foot or something, you immediately rip the covers off or jump out of bed to make sure nothing\u2019s in there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amber said the first snake was discovered a little over a week ago. Since then, 10 snakes have been found in total.<\/p>\n
The panic-stricken mom hired the services of a snake wrangler, who has been removing the snakes from the home in a human fashion. He told Amber that based on the size of the snakes, some of them may have been living in the house for the past two years.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t feel like I\u2019m the first one to find them, but I don\u2019t think that anybody would ever say that they knew they were there,\u201d said Hall.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s rough. I\u2019m 42 years old, and this is my first home. I\u2019ve worked my whole life for it, and I can\u2019t enjoy it. My kids can enjoy it. I\u2019m scared to death.\u201d<\/p>\n
So far it\u2019s cost Amber around $1,000 to remove her unwanted house guests. She said she likely won\u2019t feel comfortable until the concrete in the home is ripped up to find where they\u2019re living.<\/p>\n
This is my literal nightmare! I can only imagine how uncomfortable Amber and her children are living in a house infested with snakes.<\/p>\n
