Past hosts include icons like Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks, but Reba remains unmatched in her reign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!\u201d McEntire said in a statement. \u201cWhat an honor to be part of the past, present, and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can\u2019t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ACM CEO Damon Whiteside praised Reba\u2019s legendary status, saying, \u201cNo one has a deeper and richer history with the Academy than Reba\u2026 With exciting new music coming, extensive television presence, and a worldwide fanbase, Reba\u2019s back and better than ever!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But wait\u2014there\u2019s more!<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-10\">\n<div id=\"anchorslot\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Reba took to Instagram to reveal that she\u2019ll be debuting brand-new music during the show. \u201cOh hey @ACMawards, have you missed me?\u201d she teased. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to host this year\u2019s Academy of Country Music Awards\u2026 I\u2019ll also be performing brand-new music during the show!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans immediately flooded the comments with excitement:\u201cI\u2019m sorry, NEW music?!???!?!\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cYes @reba\u2026 we\u2019ve missed seeing you host!
