Trump and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke with reporters at the G7 summit about a trade deal<\/p>\n
Hawk-eyed people of the internet have been extremely quick to spot a peculiar detail as Donald Trump accidentally dropped a load of \u2018historic\u2019 documents.<\/p>\n
In clips circling across social media, Trump and the United Kingdom Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, could be seen outside the G7 summit talking to reporters about a trade deal they had struck up<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just signed a document. This is\u2026\u201d Trump trailed off after dropping several pages which fell out the file after he opened it up to show a series of pages with his signature scrawled across one page in thick, black ink.<\/p>\n
\u201cSorry about that,\u201d the 78-year-old Republican said, making no attempt to bend down and pick up what he had dropped.<\/p>\n
Starmer then scoops up the fallen pages off the floor before shuffling them together while laughing: \u201cA very important document!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a little windy out here, give me that\u2026\u201d Trump went on, before adding: \u201cWe just signed it, and it\u2019s done.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd so we have our trade agreement with the European Union, and it\u2019s fair deal for both.\u201d<\/p>\n
But, and here\u2019s the kicker, most of the pages in his so-called \u2018historic\u2019 document were totally blank \u2013 something which people online have been super speedy picking up on.<\/p>\n
One X user wondered: \u201cAre those documents blank?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cPlain blank document, for what?\u201d hit out a second while a third quipped: \u201cHoly crap. The US-UK trade deal is a blank sheet of paper and only Trump signed it.\u201d<\/p>\n
A fourth chirped: \u201cBlank pages!!! ALL OF THEM!\u201d<\/p>\n
