A British man has walked away from the wreckage of the Air India crash that killed 241 people in an extraordinary tale of survival.<\/p>\n
Vishwashkumar Ramesh was in seat 11A on the London-bound Boeing 787-8 flight when it crashed shortly after take off in Ahmedabad, western India.<\/p>\n
Mr Ramesh\u2019s brother, Nayan Kumar Ramesh, told BBC News Vishwashkumar \u201chas no idea how he survived\u201d and escaped the plane as the only survivor.<\/p>\n
Air India said all other passengers and crew were killed \u2013 including 169 Indian nationals and 52 other Britons.<\/p>\n

Nayan told the BBC \u201cit feels great seeing him [Vishwashkumar] doing well\u201d but he was worried about his other brother Ajay, who was also onboard.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were all in shock as soon as we heard what happened, just utter shock. Speechless,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe [Vishwashkumar] himself has no idea how he survived, how he got out the plane.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen he called us he was just more worried about my other brother, like \u2018Find Ajay, find Ajay.\u2019 That\u2019s all he cares about at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
