Prince Andrew Reportedly Seeks Alliance with Prince Harry Amid Royal Estrangement
Prince Andrew is said to be exploring a potential alliance with Prince Harry, feeling a growing sense of camaraderie with his nephew due to their shared experiences of being sidelined from royal life.
Both royals have distanced themselves from official duties—Prince Harry stepped away in 2020 alongside Meghan Markle and now lives in California, while Prince Andrew withdrew in 2019 following public backlash over his connection to convicted s3x offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In 2022, Andrew resolved a civil lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre, denying all allegations but agreeing to a confidential financial settlement. Giuffre passed away in April.
Common Ground in Royal Exile
Since stepping back from his royal role, Harry has become increasingly estranged from his family, especially following his high-profile interviews and the release of his memoir, which openly criticized the institution.
Similarly, Andrew has become more isolated, with his absence at royal events raising eyebrows.
According to insiders, Andrew now sees Harry as a kindred spirit. Both, in his view, are “spares”—second sons overlooked or mistreated by the monarchy.
A source told RadarOnline, “Andrew believes he and Harry have been unfairly treated and shares a deep connection with him because of that.”
Tensions Rise Between Andrew and King Charles
Andrew is also reportedly at odds with King Charles over his refusal to vacate Royal Lodge, the sprawling 30-room residence he occupies in Windsor. Sources claim the King wants Andrew to move out, but Andrew has resisted, escalating the tension.
An insider stated, “Charles is avoiding Andrew altogether. Andrew feels betrayed by his own family and now thinks Harry is experiencing the same treatment.
He believes that shared sense of abandonment could bring them together, despite their previously distant relationship.”
They added, “From Andrew’s perspective, if he and Harry united, it could put Charles in a vulnerable position.”
Future Looks Grim for Andrew
Meanwhile, royal commentator Hilary Fordwich told Fox News that Prince William wants Andrew permanently removed from public life once he ascends the throne.
“William doesn’t have a strong bond with Andrew and believes he should remain out of the spotlight entirely,” Fordwich said. “He sees no future role for Andrew within the royal family.”
