A priest gives a nun a ride, but becomes distracted when her gown shifts and he catches a glimpse of her leg. As his hand moves toward her, she reminds him to remember Psalm 129. Thinking she is warning him against temptation, he withdraws, only to repeat the mistake later. The nun gives the reminder again, and the embarrassed priest apologizes. After dropping her at the convent, curiosity drives him to look up the passage. The joke’s twist is an invented line suggesting he should have gone further. Its humor relies on misunderstanding, realization, and wordplay—not an actual Bible quotation.
